Memory Writeup 3
Memory #4: [Sig Neg] Past: Fighting his way to the shuttle. (headcanon)
A loaf of bread that will eventually get stale.
SCENE: This is headcanon, in that we know it happened but it's never shown. Basically, Lambda… fights his way to the shuttle! As humans are trying to stop them. Humanoids in general are stronger than they look and Lambda has his powers; when he's actively fighting back, he can cause some serious damage. He doesn't know if they're dead or unconscious, and he does not care, because they attacked first.
Memory #5: [Sig Neg] Past: Oh, people don't like his modded Sigma body. "Do you hate me… that much?"
A box with unlimited shares.
SCENE: Lambda is in his modded Sigma body-- in the Core, Sigmas are lighter, so Lambda's adjusted the color scheme, among other things, but it's the closest thing to human he can make. Hey, look, a flat face! Two arms! Humans have all those things. He's approaching a human village, but a group of humans stands in his way, bearing crude weapons. "What the hell is that thing?!" one of them yells.
(Please,) Lambda thinks, but his projective telepathy doesn't work because nobody's touching him and he's restrained by his solid form.
"Everyone, stand strong," someone else says. "We can't let it near the village!" The humans prepare to fight.
(You don't understand!)
There's a burst of pink/white light and a purple-haired humanoid appears. "What, who are you?" one of the humans asks, cringing away, but with far less fear and disgust in his voice than there had been when talking about Lambda. The humanoid ignores him and walks towards Lambda.
(You again,) Lambda thinks, resigned and bitter.
"Target acquired," the humanoid says. "Initiating attack."
(Why?) Lambda demands, even though none of them can hear him. (Why… won't you leave me alone? Do you hate me… that much?)
And instead of answering, she attacks.
The battle is part of this memory, but it's offscreen. They fight to a draw, though; both of them are exhausted and injured by the battle in a way that two actual humans probably would have died from. As they lie there, Lambda's true form rises from the body he created.
WHAT HE GETS: Well, first of all, anyone else seeing this memory won't see his full Sigma mod form or his true form, but they will be able to get the gist of his Sigma mod from the height difference and the limbs they'll be able to see in combat. Lambda, on the other hand, has an instinctual knowledge of how the body works and how to recreate it… he just… can't, at the moment.
A lot of what he gets from this memory (bitterness; everyone wants to kill me) he already had, so the new things are pretty much: yeah everyone still hates me, I have a body that's more comfortable than this gross mechanical thing humans stuck me in, that girl on Citrine wants to kill me and has attempted to do so repeatedly.
