Skill #4: Body possession/modification of possessed bodies
This is exactly what it sounds like, but with some very necessary notes. Most important:
Lambda will never possess anyone without explicit IC and OOC permission. This means even if your character would ICly go hey, yeah, sure, sit inside my head, all you have to do is let me know OOCly that this is not in actual fact cool and we can figure out a way that it just won't ever come up. You can use this post, in fact! If your character would not give IC permission, you just don't ever have to worry! Consent is extremely important to Lambda. He's extremely picky about hosts for this reason; if he's going to be in someone's body and that someone consistently makes him feel unsafe/used or he disagrees strongly with their decisions, he will nope the fuck out of there.
99% of the time, when possessing someone, Lambda will not control their actions. Lambda possesses human bodies for various reasons, but in exactly zero of those cases is it because he wants to "become" human himself. Lambda is lazy. Lambda does not want to do the work maintaining a human body. He does not want to have to worry about eating or sleeping or getting rid of waste, he does not want to worry about navigating the complex human social structures as a human. N O P E. 99% of the time he'll just chill in the back of someone's mind, and the only signs of his presence will be:
• Emotional feedback from him that's easy enough to distinguish from your own if you know he's there.
• The fact that there will be a jerk in the back of your head making snide commentary.
• Both of the above are subject to Lambda actually being awake, and most of the time he won't be.
• The fact that you will heal a lot faster from… pretty much anything, including killing blows (though in Aather saving a host's life would hit the powercap pretty fast). This is what he uses body mod for most of the time.
• The fact that, if he is given permission he will absolutely make changes to the base model of "human body" because why would you not have claws? Why would you not have wings? Your strength limitations are stupid. You have less eleth-handling capabilities. …Etc etc.
Lambda uses this as a way to regen energy for himself, most of the time. And nothing else. See above, re: Lambda is lazy. This is how he takes naps: he possesses a host where he doesn't have to do anything but let instinct take over.
So… yep. He can possess people now. That sure is a thing he can do. If you think it's something you'd be interested in playing with, we can talk it out, but I cannot actually guarantee anyone that he will be interested. He is a very fickle headmonster.
